Happy Mania is an 11-volume manga series created by Moyoko Anno. It is a good example of josei manga, a genre aimed at women over 20 that deals with the adult aspect of being a woman in contemporary Japan. The story follows Shigeta, a 24-year-old woman who works at Tanaka Books and struggles with her love-life. The English version of the manga was published by TokyoPop in 2003 and 2004 as one of their first 'Mature' rated series.
